Post-calibration of the depth ocean differential pressure gauge data
要旨:
In the previous study of the tsunami observed pressure data and magnetic field data, the vertical magnetic field phase lag to the sea-level change.
However, this result is hard to be explained by the tsunami-induced electromagnetic field theory. Because the process of deconvolution to the pressure data change the phase of data, we considered that this unexplainable phase lag may be the error of the constants for the deconvolution. On the basis of the post-calibration method (Doran et al., 2019), we used the observed
seismic data and computed tidal data to estimate the deconvolution constants of differential pressure gauge. Finally, we obtain two set of the constants in two tsunami events: 2009 Samoa tsunami and 2010 Chile tsunami. Even if we applied the new constants in the deconvolution, the vertical magnetic field still phase lag to the sea-level change. This study cannot find out the
reason of the phase lag.
